Event Details

The Twigg Handicap is a NDRC members’ only race, and is open to all. It is a handicap format, meaning that runners will be given start times according to their ability. The race is won by the first to cross the line and not the fastest time.

Entries are advertised ahead of the event (usually in June, see Race calendar for upcoming events) via the Club’s Facebook page and emails sent to Club members. This event is a Club Challenge event.

If you want to be part of the event but not run, Helper’s points are awarded to volunteers.

There is a post race buffet at the Olde House where the presentation of the Twigg Trophy is made.

This is a long-standing NDRC tradition and whether running or marshalling, a great opportunity to be involved in the social aspect of the club.
