Qualification to compete in any County Championship competition and/or County representation the individual athlete MUST be either:
- By birth – to include county of actual birth or, the usual domicile of the mother at the time of birth. Once a decision on this qualification is made it cannot be changed;
- By nine (9) months continuous residence in that county prior to the competition;
- By service in H. M. Forces stationed in the county for 9 months prior to the date of competition.
Individuals retain qualification under (2) and (3) until such time that they move from 1 county to another for 9 months prior to the competition and competed in another County’s Championship or represented another County in an Inter-County Competition.
Race HQ is the Cricket Pavilion, Queen’s Park, entrance on Boythorpe Avenue. Changing and refreshments available. This is an accurate 5k course officially measured by a UKA/ARC Course measurer with race permit 19/117 issued by ARC. CLICK HERE for measurement report. UKA race licence number 2021-41600.

Race numbers will be available for collection on race day.
Race starts at 9am and the minimum age is 11 years.
Entry fees are £8 affiliated and £10 unaffiliated.
There is also a £50 prize on offer if the course record is broken for male or female, the current records are the following.
